Fishing at Pyramid Lake

Recently my girlfriend and I went fishing at Pyramid Lake. It was a very nice day almost too nice. Besides catching 5 fish along with some other friends we also caught quite the sunburn. One thing I've noticed about fishing Pyramid Lake since I moved to Reno a few years ago is that it's never consistent. I went about 20 times without having gotten skunked then this year I've went about 5 times and only caught fish 2 times. I don't know quite what it is about the inconsistency's this year but from the reports I've read online other anglers are saying the same thing. The purpose for me posting this on my blog is to hopefully hear from other anglers and how they're doing on the lake this year. I plan on going again this upcoming Sunday and I'm hoping to catch more fish than sun if possible. Either way we had a great time at the lake and look forward to going again. Fishing is always fun even if it's a slow day :)

What are they all about? Some people have plain ones, twitter ones, and some people have fancy designs they've made for theirs. Does this make a difference in the viewers eyes? What happens with the screen resolution is different on peoples monitors? I use a normal monitor setting so to me it affects my opinion of the page I'm on. I'm just wondering if it affects those on different resolution to thinking the opposite. That they don't like the page. I have personally tried out various designs, images, etc. I feel that simple is easy, however the temptation to have something unique and me sways me towards a custom background.

	No more fans, now just a bunch of likes... It's funny cause I've seen a lot of new groups form off of this like concept. For example there's a group I seen in the billiard category called 'balls' It's funny cause if you like this page then it shows that you 'like balls' lol. This is just one example. Supposedly likes are suppose to increase interaction with pages but I don't know if they are making a difference or not. It seems like to me I'm getting the same response whether its becoming a fan or liking the page.

There is so much going on these days with Social Media. I thought I had a handle on it but everyday something new happens or pops up. What's next in Social Media? We all know it's turning into a big pile of Spam. Those who know what they're doing are succeeding in one way or another. I'm just really curious to see where social Media is going. Concept after concept is coming and going. Twitter was big, now it's shrinking. Facebook is the King, but who's the queen?
