San Saturio, Soria Spain

San Saturio, Soria Spain
San Saturio in Soria Spain is a local attraction. No one would think it but believe it or not monks still live in this location. There's caves leading into the mountain side and connecting to this amazing building. When you look at the building from this view you're suppose to be able to see San Saturio himself. If you didn't know about this amazing place in the world I myself can tell you it's a site to see and visit. I've visited this place two times in my life and can't wait to get back to see it again!

Virginia City Flats

Virginia City Flats

Inside the main building
This structure goes underground for stories upon stories and is an amazing feat that it still stands. It was a mine in it's time. This place is closed down to tourists due to the fact with several unsafe locations but it is worth sharing and knowing about none the least. Do ignore the graffiti that makes it look bad and takes away the historical value that it should have. Legends say that the flats is haunted, I don't know about this nor can I say it is or isn't. The one time I visited this location I was overwhelmed with the size and amount of cement that was used to construct it. Imagine building something like this in the early to middle 1800's. It's just an amazing place and worth spreading the word about for those adventurers out there.

End of the World

So Many people think that this December is going to be the end of the world. What do you think? If you ask me this picture may be the answer to everyone's question... What if they simply just ran out of room? Who's to say the size of rock they used for this calendar could only hold so much information. Anyway's while one may ponder the thought of science, the flipping of our poles, and the end of the world (or a very large change), that could of course just add to the irony of this conversation. There's evidence in every direction with speculation of what's to come in our Earth's future. But from this bloggers perspective I believe I just uncovered a HUGE piece of evidence pointing to the obvious :). Enjoy your Sunday's and may the earth keep turning for you!!!

Fishing at Pyramid Lake

My Girlfriend Kristie

Recently my girlfriend and I went fishing at Pyramid Lake. It was a very nice day almost too nice. Besides catching 5 fish along with some other friends we also caught quite the sunburn. One thing I've noticed about fishing Pyramid Lake since I moved to Reno a few years ago is that it's never consistent. I went about 20 times without having gotten skunked then this year I've went about 5 times and only caught fish 2 times. I don't know quite what it is about the inconsistency's this year but from the reports I've read online other anglers are saying the same thing. The purpose for me posting this on my blog is to hopefully hear from other anglers and how they're doing on the lake this year. I plan on going again this upcoming Sunday and I'm hoping to catch more fish than sun if possible. Either way we had a great time at the lake and look forward to going again. Fishing is always fun even if it's a slow day :)
